Last year my girlfriend and I took a trip to the west coast of the USA. We drove from major cities like LA and San Francisco to the melting desert craziness of Las Vegas and onto the stunning natural beauty of Yosemite.

It was Yosemite that surprised me the most, the sheer scale of it, the mountains and the half dome in particular blew my mind.
